Tourism in the Vercors

The Vercors in a few words

The Vercors, located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, is a pre-Alpine mountain range known for its spectacular panoramas and exceptional heritage. Straddling the Isère and the Drôme, the region captivates visitors with its varied landscapes, ranging from the imposing limestone cliffs of the Eastern Balcony to the majestic forests of the Western Balcony.

Designated a regional natural park in 1970, this site played a crucial role during the French Resistance in World War II, making it a historically significant place.
